![]() I'd like you to open the Camtasia Recorder and verify that the correct microphone is selected as seen here:Īdditionally, I'd like you right-click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your screen (see here) and choose "Sounds" then in the window that appears, please click on the "Recording" tab (see here). Thanks for testing that, I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a matter of the Windows 10 sound mixer having Camtasia's volume turned down. ![]() For me this is not an easy task, my Windows 10 install document is now about 700 pages long. Worst cast is that I have to install the OS and all the applications and make all of my custom settings. Thus I don't know how successful my recovery will be or how long it will take. When the SSD was failing I had a SUPER lot of issue when Acronis True Image attempted to make a backup. From their communication it may be a couple of weeks before I receive the replacement, then I will have to restore the system. I'd test on my laptop but the SSD is defective and I just got RMA approval from SanDisk. This seems to imply that I have something either not set correctly or something is screwed up on my desktop. Both seemed to be good where the audio level seemed to be very near the original. I played it in VLC, recorded it in SnagIt 2020 and Camtasia. LOLĪs another test I installed Camtasia on my wife's laptop and recorded a portion of a woodworking video I have on my PC. I would like to measure the audio level in the original and the recorded audio level and know what the difference really is rather than just saying it is much lower. ![]()
